Stason K. Shishido, D.D.S., Inc.

Dear Patients,

It has been my honor and privilege to be your dentist, and I have sincerely appreciated your confidence and trust in allowing me to care for your dental health. After over 36 years of practicing dentistry, I have decided to step aside and allow another dentist to continue providing the compassionate care and clinical excellence I strove to deliver each day.

I am happy to announce that Dr. Shantia Kazemi, DDS, has joined our team and will be the new owner of the office. She has assembled a great group of professionals, including many who were a part of my team such as Dr. Nguyen, Carolina, Erika, Jenna, Chris, Traci, Norma and Regina to care for your dental needs in the future. Dr. Kazemi is an award-winning board-certified periodontist and has been practicing dentistry since 2013. I have been impressed with Dr. Kazemi’s vision of this practice’s future, her use of both “tried and true” clinical methods, and the integration of state-of-the-art technology and treatment planning. Dr. Kazemi’s philosophical approach and caring manner closely align with how I have practiced dentistry throughout my career. She completed her certificate in Periodontal surgery & Implant dentistry at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. During her time at USC she was selected to receive ‘’Associate endowed scholarship’’ from USC School of Dentistry in 2017.  She is also a recipient of the prestigious grant from ‘’American Academy of Implant Dentistry’’. She utilizes advanced microsurgery instruments, minimally invasive and non-invasive techniques that allows for superior results, minimal discomfort and faster recovery for the procedures she performs. A recipient of several awards and honors, has also lectured nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and laser dentistry. With Dr. Kazemi’s experience and education, I assure you that she will carry on my legacy of providing dental care in the highest professional manner.

I am committed to facilitating a smooth transition for Dr. Kazemi and will be at the practice for some time, finishing cases and making introductions. Dr. Kazemi and I have been working together to make this transition seamless, and having confidence in my successor has made the process that much easier. Remember, the best hygienists and dental support team will continue serving you. I know Dr. Kazemi will appreciate, as have I, all of the little things they do to make your visit to the dentist as enjoyable as possible.

I have always endeavored to provide you with the best care I could possibly deliver in a warm, caring, family-like atmosphere. I am delighted you will continue to receive the same from Dr. Kazemi and our friendly and caring staff.

This announcement is bittersweet, as I will miss my relationships with all of you. I have genuinely enjoyed the opportunity to be your general dentist. My gratitude and best wishes go out to you all.

Sincerely,
Stason Shishido, D.D.S.
